About Upholders

Upholder has been around for a long time, at 8+ years old since the founding. It's one of the oldest guilds in the history of AdventureQuest Worlds, and is among few that are still up and running. Our Leader, Simontdk1 was the first member of the guild, and founded Upholder on the 18th of September, 2012, aided by the second member, Hold, who is still with the guild and has been serving as Officer for years. Hold is the most loyal member of the Guild and has saved the guild in dire situations many times. Thanks to both Simontdk1 and Hold, as well as all the supportive members to come after, Upholder has been built up to what it is today - a respected Guild throughout the AdventureQuest Worlds community, with a long and meaningful history.

The Guild’s home server is Artix and has headquarters at Tavern-2012, which highlights the year of our founding. Members are very friendly and eager to assist each other, and discuss various topics in the Guild chats in-game and on Twitter and Discord. The environment Upholder promotes is one of family and friendliness, a clean, healthy, and comfortable atmosphere for all to enjoy and to promote the smiles that motivate each and every one of us.

Currently, the Guild has two Permanent Officers – Hold and Shey (Sour), who are assisted by the current Temporary Officers, Tmachine and Matrooll. The Temporary Officers are chosen every 6 months, and the previous is given the rank of Member again with great gratitude for their efforts. A Temporary Officer’s contributions to the guild are never forgotten, and everything will be assessed and discussed to choose a new Permanent Officer if the need ever arises.

The officers are open, friendly and will entertain any questions or concerns coming from the Members of the guild or otherwise – members never need to hesitate to contact them either in-game or on Twitter for discussion

Lastly, the motto of the Upholders – “We will Uphold our Legacy, for it is our Destiny.” This quote is very important as all members are called to live up to this mission, to see Upholder live on forever. Everyone’s pride and passion towards the guild is reflected in this one line, that remains in each member’s heart. Thanks for reading, and Battle On!
